Mr. Lysene focuses primarily on construction defect, insurance defense, and general liability. Before working with Rai Duer Huff, Mr. Lysene worked as a general liability plaintiff’s attorney pursuing personal injury claims for his injured clients.

Mr. Lysene began his career by joining the United States Marine Corps. Corporal Lysene travelled overseas on two deployments, serving as an Electro-Optical Repair Man with the Fighting Fifth Marine Regiment. He returned home to earn his bachelor’s degrees in both Political Science and Justice Studies, magna cum laude, and his law degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

While in law school, Mr. Lysene volunteered to instruct middle school classes on the law in the CourtWorks program, a mock trial program for young students to participate in a mock trial hosted by the Arizona Federal District Court and founded by Judge Murgia. He also interned for a local criminal defense attorney and volunteered at the Maricopa County Superior Court under Judge Danielle Viola working in the Post-Conviction Relief Unit, where he evaluated applications for post-conviction relief and drafted proposed orders for judges.
